Recognition of womenīs rights has taken a long, long, time in every sphere. Not only political "rights", but the right to play "masculine" sports, go to menīs colleges, join the army and navy, fly jets, wear trousers, etc., etc. For a long time it has seemed that women were another species of animal with a limited capacity for certain activities. Basically they were limted to having babies and cooking meals. Here we have a typical story on this type of struggle: womenīs soccer. It makes great reading!
