Newport was founded in 1639 by its eight founders, even before the American Revolution. It founding was caused by a political fallout with Ann Hutchinson(a pioneer settle in Rhode Island). This settlement grew into the largest of the four original towns of Rhodes Island.
Today, Newport is known as summer spot, which is rich in history and wealth. This city, is one of the spots that has a number of colonial homes in the country along with its history.
