Visiting the Actun Tunichil Muknal will give you a glimpse how the the past has been for the some of the Mayans that lived in those days.
Located near San Ignacio Cayo, the Mayan site is a cave system that contains many skeletons, ceramics, and stonewares.
You would have to deal with the 45 - minute trails in the dense forest before you could reach the cave system.
