For particular achievements are certain places in the United States specifically known. Maine, for example, is known as being the country's sea food capital. This is highly due to the the city's sea food industry, which is strong and thriving.

Meanwhile, known for having some of the top tech companies that are in all of the U.S. such as Google and so forth, is the Silicon Valley.

Of course, New York has, from ever since, been known as the country's financial center, but it was also recently named as the center of the economic crisis.
