Egypt never fails to give archaeologists new historical treasures.
Just last month, a new perfectly preserved mummy was discovered inside a 2600-year-old sarcophagus found 36 feet below ground at the ancient necropolis of Saqqara. It has been describe as a "storeroom of mummies," after eight wooden and limestone sarcophagi plus two dozen more mummies were found here.
