Hard To Find Indian Spices

08/23/10 12:08

Hi, I'm actually an expat here in Uruguay, particularly in Montevideo. I am fond of discovering or experimenting on cooking some international foods. I have tried a lot of dishes and the good thing is that, I was just able to find my needed ingredients her in Montevideo. Some were ordered online, though. However, one problem that I always have is that, it's taking so long before I could get those spices in Montevideo. That is why, if there are spices available here, then I would just purchase it and start trying new Indian menus.

Colonial Architecture

08/13/10 12:08
It's important for cities with ancient history to preserve their colonial architecture for generations to come. People always feel a sense of history about their place of birth, and to be able to go back and see these places, and touch these buildings with your eyes, hands and heart gives one a sense of belonging, and an understanding of your roots in history. The world would be a poorer place without colonial architecture to paint history onto the modern day canvas of life. The new world, alongside the old, is always special. It roots us to our place in civilisation and enhances our world experience, in short, it invigorates.
